27/09/21 Day 1 – Dundaking Flat, cnr Luef Rd and Talbot West Rd, Talbot Brook.
Set up camp (Dam available)
28/09/21 Day 2 – Elder Audrey Narkle Nettle (Ballardong People) – welcome to Country and Stolen Generation talk.
Bus to Gunapin Ridge- 10km approx.. Quallen Rd through Darkin Swamp, via Piggery Rd, Warrigal Rd to Little Darkin Swamp (7-8km one way). Lunch spot.
Return via Upper East side of Darkin Swamp (viewing wildflowers), back to cnr Quallen and Kent Rd to campsite. Short walks can be negotiated with bus drivers, but will stay on the road.
29/09/21 Day 3 – Audrey Sole to talk on River conservation (from River and Wildflower Conservation Society)
Part 1 – Walking from campsite to Sandsprings Pool (all levels- short and long walks) for morning tea.
Part 2 – Sandspring Pool to Emu Mudflats for lunch (7km approx.) following creek line to Deefor Rd to Emu Mud Flats for lunch, up to Mt Talbot via bush track to Helena Rd (5km) for bus pick-up. (15km total)
30/09/21 Day 4 – Talk on proposed York tip- Kay and Robyn Davies on the opposition to landfill at the Allawana Farm and Catchment area (people of York have been opposing this for the last 12 years)

Short walks around Manna Flats
Long walkers Helena Rd to Mt Observation, walking via Pony Hill, Yuiring Springs (through bush) to Mt Observation (bus Pick-up, 15km walk)
01/10/21 Day 5 – Pack and move to Kokerbin Rock (Quarading and Bruce Rock Shire, 130km drive) Granite Way Walk- goes from Wave Rock in Hyden to Mt Augustus.
02/10/21 Day 6 – walks around Kokerbin Rock (3rd biggest monolith in Australia)
3/10/21 Day 7 – Yoting to Mt Stirling, 8km approx., via Kellerberrin/Yoting Rd (bus drop-offs possible)
04/10/21 Day 8 – proposed welcome breakfast with Malcolm French (subject to his availability) author of” Eucalypts of the Wheatbelt” and co-author of “Eucalypts of the South West”.
Bus to Mt Caroline (350 hectare Reserve) Walks around Mt Caroline (short and long walks)
05/10/21 Day 9 – Walk to Kwolyin townsite and Coarin Rock
Short and long walks around the old townsite and short walk to Coarin Rock for lunch (the townsite has plaques with explanations of history).
Proposed art activities in the afternoon.
06/10/21 Day 10 – pack up and home.
Second camp is currently a campfire free area due to the Shire fire ban.
